What People's Say About Place

10/10 service all the time. I call them and always greeted welcomingly. Love this company and their pizza. I recommend them to everyone and usually use them for birthday parties to.

El Reno is known for several hole-in-the-wall burger and Mexican places, and it also has a surprisingly good pizza place --Auroras Pizza Shop. Now, this is not a specialized or themed place like some other pizza faves. But if you are looking for really good pizza -- especially an all you can eat, all day pizza buffet -- then this needs to be on your list. I'll be honest--my expectations were low, as it was Dec 23rd and later in the day. When I walked in , I was even more concerned , as I was the only customer there, and the small dining area was definitely not intended to impress people with it's ambiance and decor. Besides, who eats at a mom and pop place for the decor? But, there was a buffet, and I was hungry. Now, if you are expecting a hundred foot long pizza buffet, with all kinds of pizza and salad, this isn't it. But what they did have was hot pizza, fresh salad, and tasty spaghetti! I opted for several (less than 50) slices of the varieties available (they do have a sign stating that if there is an empty slot, they will make a requested pizza. Did you know if you eat the entire pizza and create an empty slot, they'll make you another? :) ) And a note on the salad--this wasn't an iceberg lettuce wiltfest. A variety of lettuce, and tasty dressings and toppings made for a nice salad, which also was surprisingly fresh (although why choose a salad when there's PIZZA?). I also tried the spaghetti, as they brought out a fresh round while I was there. Also really good, although the sauce was a little thick. What did impress me the most was the pizza (as it should be!). For a $10 buffet, late in the day, my expectations were low. The pizza had other ideas. Was this $5 a slice, inch thick specialty pizza? No. But it also wasn't cardboard left under a heat lamp. I tried several varieties (Hawaiian included, of course--and thanks for having that on the buffet, BTW!) and each one was tasty. The thin crust was just right--not overdone and chewy, yet not undercooked and limpy. And no one likes limp pizza! The service was also impressive -- again, it was late, on the day before Christmas Eve -- but the tables were bussed quickly, the drive through service was humming, and the staff was polite and friendly. The one thing I would caution is that the dining space is limited, so large groups might be a seating challenge (there is also outside seating available). So, if you find yourself in the El Reno area, and you're looking for pizza, stop by Auroras. And if you have teenagers to feed, definitely stop by--they are right next to the High School, so they know all about feeding teenagers pizza! They also offer takeout, and have a convenient drive through so you can pick it up!

I Love this small town Pizza place. The Dough is delicious and getting hot cheetos on your pizza is awesome!!

This is the best pizza we have had in this town in a long time. We loved that the owners was there and actually sit down and talked to us. Very friendly service and great tasting food. The husband, wife and daughter was all working together perfectly. Such a nice change from “corporate world” places.

This is a small-town pizza place in the best of ways. The staff are polite and respectful. The pizza is awesome, and they even take requests. They have a salad bar that is smaller in size but is always fresh and well stocked. The seating can accommodate a family of 3 ,like mine, or a party of 8 for the larger tables. This cute little pizza place is a must stop for a quick, delicious meal.

This is one of the best pizzas we've ever had. The veggies are all so fresh and delicious and the price for the food is perfect! I do wish the wings were better, though. I had them once and they really weren't good. We'd love to eat our pizza with wings on the side but I'm hopeful they'll get the wings right soon!

On the last day of being in Oklahoma, we decided to stop at Auroras pizza which was highly recommended. This place is right in el reno next to historic rt.66, they're the best pizza in the area by far and they also have a All Day pizza buffet made fresh. We got the meat lovers pizza with regular bacon instead of Canadian bacon and also we got the mango habanero wings which were not to spicy but delicious, they are not crispy wings which i recommend but if you ask for them to be crispy then you can get them like that. There is parking out front and the back, there is seating inside and outside and there open from 11am-9pm everyday. The owner used to work at pizza express but opened up Auroras pizza in the heart of el reno to serve the locals really great food and people traveling all around. The atmosphere and people working are very friendly and the food was done within 10 minutes. I highly recommend stopping here if your in town or doing rt.66 as a trip!
